The blaze Time-of-Flight camera offers precise 3D imaging in real time thanks to Sony’s DepthSense™ sensor technology and onboard depth image processing.
The Basler blaze industrial 3D camera operates on the pulsed Time-of-Flight principle. Its laser diodes work in the NIR range (940 nm), generating 2D and 3D data in one shot. This multipart image includes a 3D point cloud, intensity image, range map, and confidence map.

VisualApplets, developed by our Mannheim branch (formerly Silicon Software), is the integrated development environment for real-time applications on FPGA processors in image processing. It enables the programming of FPGAs via dataflow models on a graphic user interface. The solution is used in a variety of industries for industrial and non-industrial applications. VisualApplets enables access to the FPGA processors in the image processing hardware, such as frame grabbers , industrial cameras and image processing devices, to implement individual image processing applications.
BASLER BLAZE SOFTWARE

Lenses for Machine Vision Applications
Lenses project the captured light onto a camera’s sensor. Combined with a camera and lighting, they are instrumental in determining the image quality. In the worst case, choosing the wrong lens can result in an irretrievable loss in image quality.
When choosing the right lens, the balance between the required imaging performance - high resolution with optimal image quality - and price is critical. Ideal imaging performance saves processing time in the subsequent image analysis software and in many cases makes the analysis of even the finest structures possible in the first place. If a basic imaging performance and an average level of optical errors are acceptable, or if these errors can actually be corrected through image processing, then cost-efficient lenses are a better choice.
